Hello! Dare I say it? I think summer has begun. For me, one of the best things about summer is eating dinner on the screened porch you see below. From there we can see the river that borders the yard. Often a kingfisher makes an appearance and enjoys a tasty trout while we enjoy whatever it is I've prepared -- sometimes trout. I have in my hot little hands a copy of my new book, The Pickled Pantry. The official pub date is June 6, 2012.
